Hi guys and welcome back to 3 Lives Left. Today, I am going to review the recently released Iron Man 3.
As we all know, or at least should know, Iron Man 3 was released in UK cinemas yesterday (26/04/2013) and I must say, it was a really good film. I personally enjoyed the first installment but thought the second was a bit of a failure, it didn't grip me or excite me in the way a film should.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is still traumatised by the events in New York (see Avengers Assemble) and is unable to sleep, yet is still able to work. While Tony is effectively out of action, a terrorist that goes by the name of The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) is seemingly wreaking havok all over the world, or is he?
As the film progresses it becomes more and more clear who the man is behind the mayhem. Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), a man who 20 years previous met Tony in an elevator at a function in Switzerland, was told to go to the roof where Tony would meet him in 10 minutes time. Stark never showed. From then on Killian was motivated by hate and revenge to 'own the war on terror'.
In an attempt to not ruin the whole story-line for you I will leave it on this note - What happens to Iron Man and Tony Stark? What happens to Pepper Potts? (Gwyneth Paltrow) And what does this all mean for the presumed 2015 release of the second Avengers film?
Iron Man 3 is in cinemas in the UK now.
Thanks for reading guys. Hope you enjoyed.

Grown Ups 2 - The First Film Preview
Hi guys and welcome back to 3 Lives Left. Today I am bringing you my very first Film preview, and this one is going to be on Grown Ups 2.
As the title of the movie suggests, it is the sequel to the much liked Grown Ups. This installment brings back most of the all-star cast of the previous film: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade. Rob Schneider will not appear in this film due to scheduling conflicts.
Lenny (Adam Sandler) presumably quits the high life of Hollywood and returns back to his hometown with his family in order to be re-united with his friends (and their kids): Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James), Kurt McKenzie (Chris Rock) and Marcus Higgins (David Spade). The film also has a little something for the ladies out there, star of the Twilight Saga: Taylor Lautner.
I remember the first film being a great laugh-fest and a real feel-good film, which can be easily viewed by families, friends, couples and even by yourself if you so wish. If this next installment is anything like its predecessor, then be sure to use the toilet beforehand and grab the tissues, 'cos this film will be a laugh-a-minute and you will be laughing so hard that you could wet yourself, cry, or even break a rib.
Grown Ups 2 comes to a cinema near you this July.
Thanks for reading! Catch you next time

GTA V Preview - Innovative or Repetitive?
Hi guys and welcome back to 3 Lives Left, the blog dedicated to bringing you previews and reviews of the latest Games and Films. Today I will be talking about the newest, and yet to be released installment of Grand Theft Auto V.
The main worry that the GTA fan-base has is - how are they going to keep it fresh?
Well for starters, Rockstar has changed up the way the story-line is played. The game will follow the lives of 3 new characters: Michael, a retired former bank robber; Trevor, a professional criminal and; Franklin, a repo man.
One interesting feature that Rockstar have confirmed is that the 3 characters' stories will interconnect in order to complete missions together. Even more than that, you can play as one of the characters at any one time! So during missions the player will be allowed to change between characters as-and-when they please.
Los Santos, where GTA: San Andreas is set, is the playground for the latest installment of the franchise. In addition to this, you will also be able to explore an expansive new map that includes a Mt. Chiliad, a Salton Sea and a military base. The Art Director is quoted saying that GTA V's new Los Santos "is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, GTA: San Andreas and GTA IV's Liberty City all put together".
As for the vehicles, nothing has been confirmed as of yet but it can be assumed that there will be a larger disposal of vehicles. And yes, the bikes are back.
One thing that has been confirmed? The release date.
Do you think that the GTA franchise are pioneers of innovative gaming? Or are they just pushing out the same old game with updated graphics?
Anyway guys, that's it for now. Don't forget to keep checking back to see more previews and reviews.

FIFA 14 - First Thoughts
Hi guys and welcome to the blog. This is 3 Lives Left and here you can find all of the new info on upcoming and current games and films, including my thoughts.
Today I am going to talk about the new stuff that EA Sports has released regarding the new FIFA 14 game. In order to keep this post short I will just be talking about the new career mode.
This screenshot shows FIFA's new scouting system. According to EA Sports, the scouting network and the entire Career Mode no longer bases it's player database off of an Over-All for each player. Instead, at first glance, it seems as though the game will require more tactics and the need to make the right decisions at the right time in terms of what players to buy, what players to sell, how to use the budget wisely, in addition to fielding the right team to get the win.
This is FIFA 14's brand new Career Mode interface. It looks much more crisp and elegant compared to previous installments of the franchise. FIFA 13's Career Hub was not very difficult to navigate around but this new hub looks even easier to navigate around and here's why:
The new RSS Feed replaces the old news feed so that all news can be seen in one, compact section.
Emphasis and extra inclusion of the new Global Scouting Network.
Preview of the next fixture plus other news in a side panel. This may or may not decrease the amount of on-screen pop-ups that we used to get in FIFA 13.
Anyway guys, that is the end of the post. Stay tuned for more info on FIFA 14 as well as other Games and Films.
